HOW TO GET RID OF SQUIRRELS

We are able to provide humane squirrel removal in and around your home.  This can achieved with squirrel cages or traps that we bait and monitor until the squirrel is caught.  These are normally placed in your loft where the main activity is heard by you, the customer.  After we believe all the squirrels have been removed, we then begin to carry out squirrel proofing.  We are able to use many different materials to suit the needs of your property subject to a survey.
Woodland areas can be controlled with squirrel hoppers baiting them with Warfarin.  Warfarin can only be used when placed in a hopper.  We do not recommend placing squirrel poison in your lofts due to carcasses becoming unreachable.  Squirrel shooting and drey poking can also take place.
Biology
There are 2 breeding seasons in the year for the Squirrel.  The first, taking place from February to March.  The litter is born after a gestation period of 45 days.  The young are then weaned at 10 weeks old.  The second litter is born between June and July, leaving the nest in August and September.  The litters average 3, with a range of 1-7 young.
